Diana Beeson

Diana Marie Beeson, age 80, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

On June 11, 1946, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri she was born to the late Odell and Doris Eddleman.

She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, David Beeson on August 31, 1968. He proceeded her in death on October 10, 2001.

Her life touched many. To hear her laugh across the room would bring a smile. To watch her and David dance was a pleasure. To receive the card or note in the mail that touched your heart with just the right words. To be given a gift, chosen just for you, wrapped with care and love.

She was a keeper of all of the dates… anniversaries, birthdays, life events; a sharer of stories; a trusted place to listen and keeper of secrets; a giver of time and energy.

Her grandsons, Mason and Simon, held an ever so special place in her heart. There was true joy in watching the relationships build with the time she had with them, making every second count.

Survivors include her daughters: Jessica (Morgan) Mundell and Alex Beeson of Jefferson City, MO. Her two grandsons: Mason and Simon Mundell of Jefferson City, MO.

Other survivors include Joan (Tom) Summers of St. Joseph, MO; Sandi (Richard) Brown of O’Fallon, MO; Bonnie (Mike) Schnurbusch of Perryville, MO; Karen Mendrala of Belton, MO; Lois (Kevin) Schade of Cape Girardeau, MO; Tina (Tim) Kobs of Tuscan, AZ; Roger (Gina) Eddleman of Wentzville, MO. As well as by a host of cherished nieces, nephews, and in-laws who loved her dearly."

McCombs Funeral Home and cremations Center of Jackson, MO are assisting with future arrangements. There are currently no services scheduled at this time as the family is settling into the world without her.
