Diane M. Barta-Kaczmarek

Diane M. Barta-Kaczmarek, 67, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at her home.

She was born Nov. 2, 1948 in Douglas, Nebraska the daughter of Frank and Ethel Goodman Barta. She and Steven Kaczmarek were married for 25 years.

Diane was a loving wife and mother she was a fantastic grandmother as well as an amazing seamstress able to sew three piece suits and even made Becky's wedding dress.

Loving survivors include her husband Steve, a daughter Becky (Ken) Wall of Papillion, NE, a son Fred (Jen) Sigmond of Atlanta, GA, two brothers, George Barta, and Rick Barta both of Omaha, NE, and a sister Bonnie (Dave) McLure.

Also surviving are three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

A committal service will be held at a later date in Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, NE.
