Dianna Miller, 72, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 19, 1952, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Walter and Bonnie Rose Link Johnston. Dianna was a 1970 graduate of Ilmo-Fornfelt High School. She was a longtime resident of Scott City and Jackson. She married Paul Terry Kester I, and they had two children, Rhonda and Paul II. She later married Paul Miller, and they had a daughter, Ashlee Jo. Dianna's employment included Scott City Public School; Taylor Enterprises, many years as a purchaser for Southeast Hospital; and various retail stores in Cape Girardeau. Loving survivors include two children, Rhonda Kester of Jackson and Paul (Hilary) Kester of Jackson; 11 grandchildren: Cassie (A.J.) Rhyne; Corey (Haley) Gettings; Kyler (Lauren) Gettings; Chloe (Conner) Penzel; Felicity, Sylvia, Oscar, Jillian, and Lucia Kester; Aidan Steffens, Meadow Sheffield; eight great-grandchildren; three siblings, Debbera Miller of Nocatee, Florida, Matthew Johnston of Scott City, and Donna (John) Braun of Scott City. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashlee Jo Miller-Steffens; her parents; and a sister, Katheryn McDowell. Tim Beussink will lead a Rosary at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. Guests are encouraged to attend the Rosary and will be seated for the observance. Visitation will follow. Father Randolph will conduct the memorial ceremony at noon. Later, Dianna will privately be inurned with her daughter, Ashlee, at Lightener Cemetery in Scott City.
