Don Seabaugh

July 3, 1929 — February 6, 2018

Donnie Webster Seabaugh, 88, of Whitewater passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 3, 1929, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Amon and Dollie Smith Seabaugh. He and Wanda M. Gibbons were married September 16, 1950 in Piggott Arkansas. She passed away March 8, 2013.

Donnie served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After being honorably discharged he worked construction and later Proctor and Gamble retiring in 1990. Donnie attended Whitewater Methodist Church.

Loving survivors include three sons Michael (Becky) Seabaugh of Crump, Terry (Mona) Seabaugh of Fruitland and Joe Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; one daughter Marilyn Seabaugh of Whitewater; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Also surviving are three siblings Ruby Hester, John Seabaugh and Carolyn Gibbons.

He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda, parents; three brothers, Alvin, Amon and Charlie Seabaugh; two sisters Hazel Hastings and Betty Hicks; two infant sisters and one infant brother.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 4-7 PM at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will be Friday, February 9, 2019, at, 11 AM, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Kuehle officiating.

Interment will follow in Stroderville Cemetery near Whitewater.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Stroderville Cemetery.
