Donald L Jeffries

Donald L Jeffries Sr., 70, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024 at his home. He was born March 28, 1953 in Stanford, Kentucky, to the late Howard and Martha Ellis Jeffries. He and Annette Robertson were married in Carson City, NV on January 29, 1977. Donald grew up in Hustonville, KY before enlisting in the Air Force and being stationed at Travis AFB in Fairfield, CA. Upon his discharge He began a career as a bus driver transporting the elderly and handicapped. Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 47 years Annette, a son Donald (Amber) Jeffries Jr.; two daughters, Jennifer Jeffries and Judi (John) Svendsen of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers William (Lois) Jeffries, Lowell Jeffries, and Orville (Judy) Jeffries; a sister Henrietta (Joe) Burch; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded by sisters Geneva Pinson and Jesse Edwards. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday from 12-3 pm at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau with military honors to be held at the funeral home at 3 pm.
