In addition to her husband of nearly 49 years, Gerald Hitt, of Jackson, loving survivors include two children, Russ (Kasey) Hitt and Kelly (Matt) McCurry, all of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Collin McCurry, Lainey Hitt and Alex Hitt, all of Mt. Juliet and her mother, Betty Myres of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Williams; stepfather, Jacob Myres; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Emma and Wesley Hitt.
