Donna Ringwald of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Donna Mae Ringwald, age 69, of Jackson, passed way Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Donna and David Ringwald married November 26, 1983.

She attended College High and graduated from Cape Central High School in Cape Girardeau. She later graduated from Cape Cosmetology School. Donna worked for Florsheim Shoe in Cape Girardeau for 16 years and 20 years at Procter and Gamble retiring in 2003. She also had worked 10 years at the Golden Needle in Cape Girardeau. Donna really enjoyed the outdoors, camping, riding horses and also quilting.

Loving survivors include her husband David of 35 years; a son, Rick Whitaker of Jackson; her mother-in-law, Verna Ringwald of Jackson: 4 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sharon (Bob) Reed of Gordonville; Brenda (Ken) Phelps, Ruth (Don) Seabaugh and Harold (Kathy) Ringwald all of Jackson; Also surviving is her precious dog, Bear.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Paul Ringwald.

Friends may call from 4-7pm Friday, February 16th, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 10:00am, Saturday, February 17th at the funeral home with Rev. Samuel E. Roethemeyer officiating.

Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
