Ernest E. Adams

Ernest Earl Adams, age 95, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Monticello House in Jackson.

He was born February 22, 1925 in McClure, Illinois son of Andrew P. and Minnie A Cumins Adams. Ernest married Marjorie A. Winn February 10, 1961. She passed away April 6, 1985.

He worked as a Truck driver for Standard Oil for several years then started his own business as a heavy equipment operator.

Loving survivors include three daughters, Janet Rhinehart of Kent, Washington, Judy Johnson of North Dakota, and Karren Westbrooks of Cobden, Illinois; a step-son Charles Kimmel of Cobden, Illinois; a step-daughter, Linda Johnson of Olmsted, Illinois.

Also surviving are many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by an infant daughter Lisa Adams, a son Joseph Adams, and a step son Wesley Kimmel.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, Dec 4, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ed Burrows, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes, Illinois, with full military honors.
