Eugene "Mark" Felty

Eugene “Mark” Felty, 55, of Cape Girardeau passed away August 5, 2021, at his home.

He was born August 24, 1965, in Cape Girardeau, son of Kermit and Helen Kuehn Felty.  He and Tina Bickings were married June 17, 2017.

Mark was raised in the Catholic Faith. He had a passion for all kinds of carpentry and took great pride in his work. He worked for Rent SEMO for several years before going to work for Richardson Construction. Mark was a loving husband, son, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Loving survivors include his wife, brothers, Kermit “Danny” Felty, Jr. and Roy Felty, both of Cape Girardeau, Gus Felty of Scott City, sisters, Helen Young of Cape Girardeau, Teresa (David) Clubb of Thiebes, Il, Robin (Joe) Morgan of Patton, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.

Mark’s family will honor his memory with a private celebration of life that will be held at a later date.

McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson was entrusted to handle the final arrangements for Mark.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to American Cancer Society.
