Evelyn “Jeanie” Lincoln

Jeanie Lincoln, age 69, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at her home.

She was born April 27, 1948 in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Melvin "Mac" and Geneva Evelyn Owens Smith. She and Kenny Lincoln married September 19, 1992. He preceded her in death February 29, 2016.

Jeanie attended school in Scott City, MO. She moved to Jackson in 1977. Jeanie was a forklift driver at Rubbermaid in Jackson for several years, retiring in 2008.

Loving survivors include her son, Larry Shoultz of Jackson; two granddaughters, Cat Shoultz of New Jersey and Shannon (Ben) White of Cape Girardeau; two great granddaughters, Evi Shoultz and Anna White.

Also surviving are four siblings Larry Smith of St Louis, Susan Smith of Jackson, Paul Smith of Oran and Mac Smith of Waterloo, Illinois.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death parents, a son, Sean Shoultz, and a brother Lloyd Smith.

Visitation will be from 4-8pm, Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 11am, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Mike Huffman officiating. Interment will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.

The family suggests that contributions be made to Southeast Hospice or to the church or charity of Donor's choice.
