Evonne A. Petterman

Evonne A. Peterman, age 89 of Jackson, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 surrounded by her family at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 8, 1928 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, daughter of Alfred and Ella Johnson Herfindahl. She and Richard Peterman were married September 7, 1950. He preceded her in death August 9, 2000.

Evonne was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister. She was loved by all.

A private burial will be held at a later date in Minnesota.

The family suggests that contributions be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, March of Dimes or American Diabetes Association.
