Frances Marie (Hardaway) England

Frances Marie England, 86, of Oak Ridge, Missouri, stepped through the gates of heaven and into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, June 19, 2022.  She passed peacefully at her home, with family at her side.

She was born March 30, 1936, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to Elmer and Aletha Hardaway.  Frances was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Frances has been an active member of the Order of Eastern Star for many years.

Frances leaves many cherished memories, including crocheting, which she shared with her family.

Frances leaves behind her beloved husband of 65 years, Donald; three sons, Robert, Bryan, and Jeff; nine grandchildren. Katherine, Caleb, Krystal, Scott, Elizabeth, Ronald, Katie, Dawn, and Natalie; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald and David; two brothers, Harvey and Elmer; and her parents.

Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, June 23, 2022, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral is at 11 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating.  Frances will be laid to rest at 2 p.m., Thursday, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
