Gary Franklin England

Gary Franklin England, 80, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday May 1, 2024, at his home. He was born December 22, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, son of Albert and Carmeline Pratt England. He and Barbara Allen were married on November 18, 1989. Gary served in the US Navy from 1964 - 1967. He was a man who loved God and was a member of Discover Life Church in Cape Girardeau. Loving survivors include his wife, Barbara of Cape Girardeau; step-son, Kenneth (Raema) Wayde Howell of O'Fallon; twin sister, Sandra Holmes of Cape Girardeau; sister, Beverly Clanin of Poplar Bluff; niece, Tessa (Andrew) Buckelew of Poplar Bluff; nephews, John Terrill and Mike Terrill both of Arkansas; close friend dear brother, Wayne Morgan of Cape Girardeau; two step-daughters, Sherri Uren of Jackson and Michelle Clark, Jessica (Jeremy) Miller, Katlyn (Jamin) Schippers, Elija Phoenix, Zoey Howell; many great-grandchildren and a great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents. The visitation will be from 9:00 AM on Friday, May 10,2024 at Discover Life Church in Cape. The memorial service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday May 10, 2024, at the church, with the Pastor Gary Brothers officiating. Interment will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with full military honors. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center to help with the funeral expenses.
