Gladys Woods

Gladys Woods, 91, of Burfordville, Mo. passed away Friday September 1, 2017 at her home.

She was born October 31, 1925, in Southern Illinois, daughter of William and Dora Baumuck Modglin. She and Ules Sherman Woods were married August 15 1946. They had been married 67 years when Sherman passed away December 10, 2013.

Gladys was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Jackson. She was dedicated to her family and enjoyed gardening and her flowers.

Loving survivors include three sons Larry (Carol) and Mike (Nancy) Woods of Jackson, and Andy (Kim) Woods of Burfordville, Mo; 9 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 2 Sisters and a Brother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 4 sisters and a great granddaughter.

The visitation will be 5-8 pm, Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral service will be at 10 am, Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the funeral home with Bro. Ben Stafford officiating.

Interment will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee, Mo.

Memorials may be given to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 1250 County Road 318, Jackson, MO, 63755 or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
