Surrounded by his family, Greg Anthony Myers, 62, of Eminence, Missouri, formerly of Friedheim, Mo., passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born July 23, 1958, in Perry County, Missouri, to Henry F. and Wilma Balsmann Myers. He and Shella Thompson were married October 16, 2010.
Greg worked many years as a heavy equipment operator in the logging industry.
Loving survivors include his wife and best friend, Shella Myers; three children: Lexie (Chad) Newell and sons Silas and Sutton; Tiffany (Mike) Samoorian, daughter Everly and another baby expected in September; Dillon Myers (Lindsey Wachter); a stepson, Ozzy (Kristan) Walker and son Jaxson; four siblings: Vickie (Dan) Kutz; Sister Betty Myers; Michelle (Kevin) Roth; and Hank (Jane) Myers; his mother-in-law, Anna (the late Raymond) Thompson; brother-in-law, Mickey Thompson; sister-in-law, Donna (Bobby) Weber; first wife, Penny Myers; and several beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant sister, Kristi Myers.
Visitation is from 11 to 1 p.m., Monday, March 15, 2021, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral is at 1 p.m., Monday, March 15, 2021, at the funeral home, with Father Patrick Christopher officiating. Interment will follow at St. Maurus Cemetery in Biehle.
