Harold Lee "Smitty" Smith

Harold Lee "Smitty" Smith, 77, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2002, at his home. He was born June 26, 1944, in Salem, Missouri, son of Raymond & Daisy Black Smith. Harold worked at Bristol-Meyers as a nutritionist sales representative, after retirement he started the S & S Classic Truck & Storage Company. Harold honorably served in the Air Force National Guard. Loving survivors include a son, Steven (Kimber) of St. Peters, Missouri, a daughter, Sherry Lynn Seabaugh of Addison, Tx, two grandsons: Christopher Smith of St. Louis, Corey Smith of St. Peters, and his loyal canine companion, Amy II. Smitty had one brother, Vernon Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of life will start at 6 pm, on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Jackson Civic Center, with Smitty's good friend, Tim Sievers as commentator. Should friends desire, memorials contributions may be made to American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
