Helen Jackson

Helen Louise Jackson 84 of Jackson, Missouri, peacefully passed away Friday, August 1, 2025, at her home.

Helen was born December 26,1940, in Scopus, Missouri, to Sherman William and Elsie Lou Lincoln. She was a graduate of Morley High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She and Bill Jackson were married on April 3, 1965, at Morley Baptist Church in Morley, Missouri.

She was employed 35 years for the State of Missouri as a counselor for the Department of Social Services and Rehab Services for the Blind.  She retired in 1996. She was known for her homemade pies, especially her coconut cream pie. She baked and served pies at Barks Auction in Jackson for 12 years.

Loving survivors include her husband, Bill Jackson of Jackson; two daughters, Denah (Roger) Siebert of Millersville and Susie (Sterling) Proctor of Benton, Missouri; granddaughter, Colby (Blake) Friese of Friedheim, Missouri, and three grandsons, Matthew (Emily) Proctor and Mitchell (Anna) Proctor of Benton, Missouri, Michael (Tara) Siebert of Millersville, Missouri; and five great-grandchildren, Branch, River, Quinn, Cameron and Beau; brothers, Richard Lincoln of Linnaeus, Missouri and Gary (Beverly) Lincoln of Marble Hill; sisters, Patricia (Randy) Hendricks of Advance, Missouri and LaDonna (Larry) Petzoldt of Altenburg, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman William and Elsie Lou Upchurch Lincoln; brothers, Max, Jack and Donald Lincoln; and sisters Mary Lou Ozment, Linda Sims and Wanda Foster.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. to service time, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.  Her daughter, Denah Siebert, and the Rev. Jim Matthews will conduct the funeral service at 12 p.m., Wednesday, August 6, at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Old Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
