Ilanda Ruth (Shultz) Bollinger

Ilanda Ruth Bollinger, 94, of Jackson passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born May 10, 1930, in Sedgwickville, daughter of Charles and Eveline Ruth Shultz. She and Ralph Bollinger were married on August 26, 1949. They had been married 61 years before he passed away on December 8, 2010. Ilanda loved her family. She enjoyed playing the piano and reading. She attended First Baptist Church in Jackson. Loving survivors include her sons, Steve (Kim) Bollinger of Mattawn, MI and John (Valerie) Bollinger of Jackson; grandchildren, Ross Bollinger, Bekka Bollinger, R.J. Roark, Robert Bollinger, Josh Bollinger and Brody Bollinger; two great grandchildren, Louise Bollinger and Ruth Bollinger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; parents; brother, Charles Shultz; and sister, Mary Shultz. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. The funeral service will be at noon Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Parry officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
