Jackie Eftink

Jacqueline "Jackie" Eftink, 65, of Jackson, passed away Nov. 21, 2016 at her home.

She was born September 7, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, to Wilbert and Elva Dover Shaffer. She and Kenneth Eftink were married April 7, 1982 at the Methodist Church in Oran.

Jackie worked several years as a nurse at the Chaffee Hospital, and in recent years was a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Oran.

Loving survivors include her husband of 34 years, Kenneth of Jackson; three children, Angela (Michael) Hess of Bell City, Missouri, Ronnie C. Cook of Advance, Missouri, Kenny (Amanda) Eftink of Bertrand, Missouri; five grandsons, Dakota Hess of Bell City, Nazareth Cook of Oran, Preston Eftink of Bertrand, Michael Eftink of Farmington, Dylan Eftink of Bertrand; four granddaughters, Mercedes Hess of Bell City, Corinthian "Haleigh" Cook of Cape Girardeau, Alivia Cook of Scott City, Missouri, and Whitney Eftink of Farmington, Missouri; four great-grandsons, Noah Johnson, Remington Hess, Raysean Rodgers, and N. J. Cook; two siblings, Gary (Cynthia) Shaffer and Monty Shaffer, both of Oran, Missouri; two nephews, Israel Shaffer of Oran, Austin Shaffer of Chaffee; a niece, Michelle (David) Moore of Oran; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a granddaughter, Chrishella Cook.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 22, 2016, from 4 to 8 p.m., at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, and Wednesday, November 23, 2016, from 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

The funeral will Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at 1 p.m., at the funeral home, with the Rev. Stan Hargis officiating.

Burial will follow at Friend Cemetery in Oran.
