Jacqueline H. Blaylock

Jacqueline Huong Blaylock (Nguyen) passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, at her home in Jackson, Missouri, at the age of 81. Known affectionately to many as Jackie, she leaves behind a legacy of love and family that spans generations.

Born in Vietnam on June 22, 1943, Jacqueline's life journey with her husband eventually brought her to Missouri, where they built a home filled with warmth and devotion. Their life was marked by enduring love and partnership. Together, they raised a close-knit family that continues to honor her memory.

Jackie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Arthur D. Blaylock, their children: Danny (Cindy) Blaylock; Denise (Andy) Middaugh; and Tony (Odette) Blaylock.  Jackie's role as a grandparent brought her immense joy, and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren: Ashley Radake, Amber (Johnny) Brookover, Tia (Justin) Hill, Matthew Middaugh, Trae Miinch, Dylan (Whitney) Blaylock, Abbi (Kyle) Harter, Alex Blaylock, Audrey Middaugh, and Gabe Blaylock. Jackie's legacy will continue through 16 great-grandchildren, who will grow up hearing stories of the strength and love that defined her life.

Visitation is from 12:30 pm to service time, Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 640 W. Independence Street, Jackson, Missouri 63755.  At 1:30 pm, guests are invited to attend a brief service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.  This time of reflection will offer an opportunity for her beloved husband, Arthur, along with their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends, to gather in remembrance of the gift Jackie was to all who knew her.

May Jacqueline Huong Blaylock’s memory bring comfort and peace to those whose lives were touched by her presence.
