Jacquelyn Ann (Hill) Close

Jacquelyn Ann Close, 65, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 at her residence in Jackson.

She was born Dec. 12, 1953 in Lebanon, TN the daughter of the late John and Teresa Ann Johnson Hill.  She and Dr. Edward Close were married July 13, 1978 in Los Angeles, CA.

Jacquelyn grew up in Lebanon. She met Edward while working as an administrative Accountant with an environmental firm in Tampa, FL.  They married and traveled the country and the world with Edward’s job as an Environmental Engineer.  In the late 90’s Jacquelyn became involved with essential oils.  She led instructional seminars on the amazing health advantages that essential oils can give.  She and Edward co-wrote a book espousing the usage of essential oils for the control and eradication of mold.

Loving survivors include her husband of 40 years Edward, a son Joshua Close of O’Fallon, Missouri and a Brother Doss Hill of Smyrna, TN. and two grandchildren.

The visitation will be from 4 – 8 pm on Friday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral service will be at 1 pm on Saturday with the Rev. Anthony Stewart officiating.
