James L. Dalton, 86, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Jackson.

Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. Bro. John Hooker will conduct the funeral service at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the funeral home. A committal and military honors will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Discover Life Church in Cape Girardeau.
