Jeanette (Kimbel) Farrow

Pocahontas, Missouri

Jeanette Farrow, 83, of Pocahontas, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at her home.

Born July 22, 1940, in Cape Girardeau County, to Benjamin and Sybil “Marie” Carmack Kimbel.

Jeanette and John W. Farrow were married October 11, 1960, in Cape Girardeau.  They had been married 58 years when John passed away January 19, 2019.

Jeanette devoted her attention to raising children and homemaking.  She was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Jackson.  Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy and she loved spending time with them.

Loving survivors include three daughters, Teresa (Revis) Reisenbichler of Pocahontas, Lori (James) Schroeder of Jackson, Ella Farrow of Pocahontas and honorary daughter Sarah Grebing; three grandchildren, Jade (Dillon) Bowen of Jackson, Devin (Rachel) Niswonger of St. Louis, and Trey (Kaylee) Reisenbichler of Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Deacon Bowen and Nora Reisenbichler; siblings, Billie Farrow; Ray Kimbel, twin brother Gene Kimbel, and Bobby Kimbel.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Scott and John W. “Bill” Farrow; two infant sons, William and Matthew Farrow; an infant grandchild, Skyler Schroeder; her parents; and siblings, Betty Wilkinson Gregory, JoAnn Parker, Benjamin “Sonny” Kimbel, Shirley McLain, Hulda Flanagin, James Kimbel, and Brenda Wilkins Turner.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2024, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.  Glenn Cochran will conduct a graveside service at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2024, at McLain Chapel Cemetery in Oriole.

If considering a memorial contribution, the family suggests the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Jackson.
