Jerry Don Sterling, Sr., 74, of Hillsboro, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Riverview at the Park in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.
He was born January 24, 1945, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Paul and Mary Jane Brown Sterling. He first married Linda Brown. Two children were born to their union, Jerry, Jr., and Melissa. He later married Ruth Evans Schlater. She passed away August 16, 2011.
Jerry worked many years as an OTR truck driver.
He is survived by two children: Jerry (Sheri) Sterling, Jr. and daughter, Hailey, of Jackson; Melissa (Philip) Wilson and daughter, Miranda, of Cannalou, Missouri; and significant other, Michele McQuenny of Hillsboro, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; and former wife, Linda Anderson.
At Jerry’s request, there are no services.
He will be laid to rest next to his wife, Ruth, at Patterson Cemetery in Patterson, Missouri.
Cremation accorded by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
