Jimmie C. Kincy, 63, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born February 22, 1954, in Dexter, Missouri, to Aldon and Lenora Cato Kincy. He and Rose Mary Drum were married November 3, 1996, at First General Baptist Church (now Connection Point Church) in Jackson.

Jimmie was raised in Bloomfield and Dexter and was a 1972 graduate of Dexter High School. His career was in retail grocery. He was first employed as a butcher and manager at the former Boone's Grocery and former Big Star Grocery in Dexter. Thereafter, he worked many years in management for Town & Country in the communities of Clarkton, Charleston, Malden, and Dexter, Missouri and retired from Country Mart in Jackson.

Jimmie was baptized at Calvary Baptist Church in Dexter and was a longtime member of Connection Point Church in Jackson.

Jimmie adored his children and was faithful in attending their soccer games. He thoroughly enjoyed going to garage sales and mowing his yard.

Loving survivors include his wife of 21 years, Rose Mary Kincy of Jackson; three children, Anastasia, Makayla, and Lucas Kincy of Jackson; three brothers, David (Wilma) Kincy, Dennis Kincy, and Steven (Rose) Kincy, all of Jackson; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Rose Drum, Sr. of Friedheim; two sisters-in-law, Yolanda (the late Randell) Kincy of Southeast Missouri, Karen (Scott) Young of St. Peters, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Ralph (Holly) Drum, Jr, of Jackson; and five nieces and nephews: Tracy (David) Poston; Amanda (Shawn) Eftink; and Chelsea Drum, all of Jackson; Kim Robinson Holly and husband Mike Holly of Fenton, Missouri; Ashley Drum and husband Paul Ragsdale of Park Hills, Missouri; a nephew-in-law, Jeff (the late Missy) Campbell of Millersville; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Micheal and Randell Kincy; a niece, Missy Campbell; and a nephew-in-law, Doug Robinson.

Visitation is Tuesday, December 26, 2017, from 4 to 8 p.m., in Chapel A, of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral is Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at 2 p.m., at the funeral home, with the Revs. Chris Vaught, Kevin Mann, and Sidney Laxton officiating. Burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Connection Point Building Fund.
