Jimmy Troyce Taylor, 75 of Jackson, passed away Friday, Mar 25, 2016 at his home. He was born Feb 28, 1941 son of Elvey Eugene and Inez McBride Taylor. He and Tula Ruth Pedigo were married Mar 30, 1963.

Jimmy was a member of the Jackson Church of Christ and served 18 years as a minister for the Church of Christ. He served as the administrator of Hughson Christian School in Hughson, CA and was employed 20 years for Proctor and Gamble, retiring in 2002. He later severed as a substitute teacher for the Jackson R2 Public Schools. Jimmy and Tula were blessed with three mission trips to Cape Town, South Africa.

Loving survivors include his wife, Tula Taylor of Jackson; daughter, Ruth LeAnn (Lee) Simpson of Keller, TX and a son Troyce Dean (Leslie) Taylor of Modesto, CA; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers.

Visitation will be 10 am-12 pm Saturday, Apr 2, 2016 at Jackson Church of Christ, 310 North Shawnee, Jacckson, MO The funeral service will be 12 pm Sat at the church with Ministers Edd Sterchi and Brian Mitchell officiating.

Memorials may be given to Children's Home Inc, 5515 Walcott Rd, Paragould, AR 72450 or Jackson Church of Christ.
