John Allen Buehler

John Allen Buehler, age 86, of Oak Ridge, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born August 11, 1936, in Glen Allen, Missouri, son of Lee and Alma Fisher Buehler. John married Judith Ann Felty December 5, 1959, at Fairview Methodist near Millersville. After graduating from Lutesville High School in 1954 he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. He worked as a petroleum salesman for 30 years for Jackson CO-OP Service Center in Jackson. John was a school bus driver for Jackson R-2 School District and later operated a concrete mix truck. John enjoyed his family and being outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, attending auctions, and sitting on his front porch watching deer, birds, and turkeys. Loving survivors include his wife of 63 years; three children, Carla (Bill) Crow of Argyle, Texas, Curt (Noy) Buehler of Jackson, and Craig (Sarah) Buehler of St. Charles, Missouri; six grandchildren, Asha (Sean) Gremillion, Trevor, Marissa, Beau, Luke, and Cashel Buehler; and brother, Howard Buehler of Memphis, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Eric Crow, sister, Carolyn Doyle, and brother, Edward Buehler. Visitation will be Thursday, December 29 from 10:00 until service time at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin and Bryan Wendling officiating.
