John Charles Huckabee

John Charles Huckabee, 61, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home.

He was born December 4, 1955, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to Floyd and Wyvonna Jackson Huckabee.

John was a graduate of Cape Central High School.

He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, and being with family.

Survivors include a daughter, Kelly (Kenny) Gardner; a brother Ron (Mary Jane) Huckabee; former spouse Debbie Huckabee; and two grandchildren, Eann and Owen Gardner all of Cape Girardeau; two nieces Rhonda (Kevin) Jones of Jackson, and Aimee (David) Martin of Cape Girardeau; and a nephew, Chad (Nicole) Huckabee of Millersville. He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Visitation will be from 1:30 – 2:30 Sunday, December 18, 2016, at the Mount Auburn Christian Church on Mount Auburn Road in Cape Girardeau.

A memorial service will begin at 2:30 at the church, with Rev. Casey Elmore officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Mount Auburn Christian Church at 930 N. Mt. Auburn Road, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
