John Svendsen

John Warren Svendsen, age 51, of Cape Girardeau, passed away, Saturday August 15, 2026 in his home. He was born December 22, 1974 in Hollywood California to the late Dennis and Johnnie Svendsen. He met Judith Robertson in Fairfield, California and were married June 24, 1995.

A humble, simple man, who had a love of music (classic Rock), history, and especially cars, most importantly NASCAR. John was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years Judith Svendsen; three sons, Kyle Svendsen of Santa Rosa, California, Darren Svendsen and Konnor Svendsen of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; a daughter, Stephanie Blair of Ponca City, Oklahoma; 2 Grandchildren, Lynnette Blair and Wyatt Vennemann; Two brothers, Bruce and Gene Pearson of Tucson, Arizona; Two honorary sons, Billy Blair Jr. and Matt Vennemann, and some wonderful friends! 

He was preceded in death by his mom, Johnnie Ellen Svendsen and his father Dennis Warren Svendsen.
