Juanita N. Mabuce Robins, 98, of Jackson, passed away Sunday August 28, 2022, at her home in Jackson.
She was born February 27, 1924, in Bessville, Missouri, to Rona and Lillie Greer Parsons. She married H. Delwin Mabuce in 1944. A son, Fred, was born to their union. They had been married 29 years when Delwin passed away January 10, 1973. Juanita and Roy Robins were married February 14, 1976. They had been married 30 years when Roy passed away on September 3, 2006.
Juanita was a graduate of Lutesville High School in Bollinger County. She worked as a clerk for the Millersville Mercantile Store. Juanita was an active member of Millersville United Methodist church for over 78 years and a member of the United Methodist Women's Organization. She loved to crochet, quilt, flower and vegetable gardening. She enjoyed volunteering for as a 4-H leader and election polling judge.
Loving survivors include a son, Fred (Cheryl) Mabuce of Jackson; two stepsons Edwin (Leslie) Robins of St. Louis and Michael Robins of Jackson; two grandchildren, Kyle (Misty) Mabuce and Nicole (Craig) Rhodes; three step grandchildren Michelle (Matt) Linhardt, Christie (Mark) Sowers and Alison (Dan) Brightwell; one great grandson, Jackson Mabuce; 10 step great-grandchildren, and a sister, Velma (Russell) Polen of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Delwin Mabuce; second husband, Roy Robins; her parents; and four brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Thursday, September 1, 2022 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. Funeral service will be at noon, on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Millersville United Methodist Church or Crown Hospice.
