Juanita L. (Williams) Copeland

Juanita L. Copeland, 65, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024, at her home.

She was born September 7, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, to Jesse E. and Minnie M. Deimund Williams. She and Danny Copeland were married June 5, 1976, in Jackson. They had been married 47 years when Danny passed away.

Juanita worked over 15 years in the cafeteria at Jackson R-2 Middle School, retiring as the cafeteria manager. She was previously employed over 20 years at Blair Industries in Scott City.

Juanita had a special affection for cats and dearly loved her two feline companions, B.G. and Sissy.

Loving survivors include a son, Bryan (Tara) Copeland of Texas; grandson, Tyler (Erika) Copeland of Texas; two siblings, Cindy (Gary) Dudley of Jackson and Jesse (Pat) Williams of Cape Girardeau; and a sister-in-law, Donna Cook of Jefferson City, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

There is no visitation or ceremony. Juanita's final arrangements were entrusted to McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
