Judith L. "Judy" Weber was born on May 13, 1944, in Dickinson, North Dakota, to Stanley and Helen Weber, who preceded her in death. She spent most of her adult life in St. Louis, Missouri, before making her home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, during her final years.
Judy dedicated more than four decades of her life to caring for others as a registered nurse. Throughout her distinguished career, she served patients in hospitals and home health care across the St. Louis area, offering exceptional compassion, skill, and kindness to everyone she encountered. Nursing was more than a profession to Judy—it was a reflection of her generous heart and lifelong commitment to helping others.
Above all else, Judy cherished her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy came from the time she spent with those she loved. Her unwavering love, encouragement, and gentle presence created a lasting legacy that will continue through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.
Judy found joy in life's simple blessings. She loved baking, preparing meals to share with family and friends, plants and gardening, spending time outdoors, losing herself in a good book, and taking long walks. A gifted pianist, she especially enjoyed playing classical and jazz music. Judy possessed a warm sense of humor, an adventurous and independent spirit, and a natural curiosity that inspired her to keep learning throughout her life. She had a remarkable ability to see the best in people and freely offered grace, compassion, and encouragement to everyone she met.
To know Judy was to love her. Her kindness, quiet strength, and selfless heart touched countless lives. She made people feel seen, cared for, and valued, and her memory will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who were blessed to know her.
After a courageous journey with Alzheimer's disease, Judy passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her children and grandchildren. While her family mourns her passing, they find comfort in the many beautiful memories she leaves behind and the enduring example of a life lived with compassion, faithfulness, and love.
Judy is survived by her children, Susan Cain (Kenny), Karen Musemic, John Kronmueller, Thomas Kronmueller, and Katherine (Brent) Knaup; her grandchildren, Kelli (Khoi), Michael, Omar, Faris, Emina, Nathaniel, Myles, Brody, and Cora; her great-granddaughter, Alinea; her siblings, Lynette (Joe) Spika, Barbara (Jeff) Kuhn, Laurie (Tom) Hegna, and Michael Weber; and her brother-in-law, Dave Enderle.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Enderle; and her beloved first grandson, Jonathan.
Judy's life was one of service, generosity, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
