Judy L. Crader

Jean Lavern “Judy” Crader, age 84 of Jackson, passed away July 9, 2026 at St Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 30, 1942 in Aurora, Indiana the daughter of Roy F. and Henrietta M. Goodpaster Lawrence. She and Charles W. “Jake” Crader were married July 6, 1963.

Judy worked as a nurse’s aide at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau for many years. She loved animals and people.

Loving survivors include her son Charles “Chuck” Crader of Jackson and two brothers, Robert and Steve Lawrence.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 am Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. Funeral Service will be Tuesday , July 14, 2026 at 11:00 am with Rev. Mike Parry officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
