June Lewis

June D. Lewis, 78, of Jackson passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at her home.

She was born June 22, 1937, in Norfolk, England daughter of Reginald and Gertrude Gallant. She married Roy Lewis October 15, 1956

June attended Iona Baptist Church. She also enjoyed cross stitching and art and traveling.

In addition to her loving husband of 59 years she is survived by a son and a daughter, Nicholas and Mandy Lewis both of England; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Sybil Upchurch of Cape Girardeau and Janet Cann of England.

Also surviving are a number of loving nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 21, 2015 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson with Rev. Kevin Rhodes officiating.
