June Perez

June Allis Perez, 76, of Jackson, Missouri, departed this world peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family in Jackson, MO. Born on Friday, June 9, 1950, to the late LC and Louise (Laymon) Reid, in Portageville, MO.

She dedicated her life to nurturing and caring for the children of her community as daycare provider. Her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Her interests included walking, aerobics, gardening, thrifting, and taking care of children.

June was preceded in death by her loving parents, LC Reid and Louise Reid, her devoted husband, Jose Roman Perez.

June is survived by her beloved sons, Joseph Perez (Carinsa) of Jackson, MO, John “Ray” Perez (Michelle) of Cape Girardeau, MO, and Jason Perez (Christy) of Jackson, MO. Grandchildren include Salena Perez of Cape Girardeau, MO, Avery Perez of Cape Girardeau, MO, Andrew Perez of Kansas City, MO, Meredith Perez of Jackson, MO, and AJ Perez of Reno, Nevada.

A woman of great resilience and warmth, June's life was a testament to the enduring strength of the human spirit. Her nurturing nature and dedication to others extended beyond her occupation, touching the lives.

A Celebration of Life will take place at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, Missouri on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 9:00 am until the memorial service starting at 11:00 am. As we gather to celebrate June's life, we remember the warmth of her smile and the depth of her love, which will remain with us always. Arrangements have been entrusted to McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
