Kathryn Jean "Ditty" King

Kathryn Jean “Ditty” King, 70, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at her home in Jackson.

She was born December 22, 1951, in Perryville, Missouri, to Gail William Jr. and Gale Mae Allen King.

She was a graduate of Truman High School in Independence, Missouri.  Kathryn enjoyed a successful career in sales for KFVS 12 and K103 in Cape Girardeau.

Kathryn was a member of the Overcomers International Church in Perryville and especially enjoyed her small group Bible study.

Loving survivors include her mother, Gale King of Jackson; a daughter, Madalyn Bruegging of Perryville; a brother, Scott (Tawny) King and sons Tristan and Quinlin, all of Jefferson, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her father, and a sister, Sue Abelson.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. to service time, Saturday, February 5, 2022, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The Rev. Kent Ward will conduct the funeral service at 3 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the funeral home.

Interment is private at Brown General Baptist Church Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Brown Church Cemetery.
