Kim Gilbert, 61, of Jackson passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born January 11, 1956, in San Diego, California, son of Ernest Eugene and Ann Laurie Muzzy Gilbert.
Kim was a former Cub Scout leader while residing in Rolla, Missouri. He was a commercial freight truck driver for many years.
Loving survivors include three daughters, Tabatha (Gary) Flores, Crystal Ingram, and Nicole (Chris) Banta of Jackson; three brothers, George (Diane) Gilbert of Salem, Missouri, Gene (Cindy) Gilbert of Washington, Missouri, and Brian Freeman of California.
Also surviving are ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Freeman, a son, Steven Gilbert; and a brother, Ernest Gilbert.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Trail of Tears State Park.
