Larry Don Amelunke

Larry Amelunke, 59, of Advance, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021. He was born January 22, 1962, in Cape Girardeau, son of Charles and Ella May Scholz Amelunke. Larry worked as a carpenter most of his life until he became disabled and could no longer work. Loving survivors include his parents, Charles and Ella May Amelunke and a brother Randy Amelunke all of Whitewater, Missouri. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Leonard and Lucille Scholz and paternal grandparents Alvin and Eunice Amelunke. Visitation will be from noon until service time on Friday, September 3, 2021 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. Funeral service will be at 2 pm on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson. Memorials may take the form of contributions to the family to assist with final expenses.
