Larry D. Joiner

Larry D. Joiner, age 85, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at his home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born September 29, 1940 in Cape Girardeau the son of James O. and Bertha Alvina “Fussy” Gross Joiner. He and Mary M. Niswonger were married November 22, 1958 in Cape Girardeau. She preceded him in death April 19, 2015.

Larry attended school in Cape Girardeau. He worked many years as an over the road truck driver. He was a 60 year member of the Cape Elks Club. He also enjoyed riding his Harley with the H.O.G.S.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Debby Reisenbichler and her husband Jay; a granddaughter, Christie Reisenbichler of Jackson.

In addition to his wife he was preceded by his parents and twin siblings Jack and Jill.

The Cape Elks Lodge will conduct an Elks service at 11 am Monday, October 27, 2025 at the Cape County Memorial Park Gazebo.
