Larry Stoner

Larry Keith Stoner, 81, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, formerly of Portland, Indiana passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 9, 1937 in Union City, Indiana to the late Wilbur and Helen Locker Stoner.  He and Ethel Uhrich were married June 27, 1959 in Salamonia, Indiana.

Larry graduated from Portland High School in 1955 and served in the US. Army for 1955 – 1958. He retired after 33 years from Acme Die Casting at the Northbrook, Illinois facility.

Loving survivors include his wife Ethel, three sons Michael Stoner of Libertyville, IL, Jeff Stoner of Cape Girardeau, MO., and Kevin Stoner, a sister Kay Gleeson.

He was preceded by his parents Wilbur and Helen Stoner, his paternal grandparents Clarence Melvin and Erma Stoner maternal grandparents Jesse and Cora Locker.

A celebration of life was held in Cape Girardeau on April 2, 2019.

Cremation will be accorded by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson
