Larry Don Yarbro, 63, of Jackson, passed away peacefully at home on March 24, 2026.
He was born April 10, 1962 in Chaffee, Missouri, to Larry G. and Donna King Yarbro.
Larry Don and Edna Walter were united in marriage on March 6, 1982, in Tilsit, and together they built a life full of love and instilled it into their two children Phillip (Michelle) and Ashley (Russell) Beussink.
Larry Don worked many years with his dad at Yarbro Service Station. After closing the station, he worked for Jim Wilson’s Express Tire now Raben. He went to work for John Deer Erb Equipment until he retired in Dec. 2020. He and his wife were devoted members of Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville. He was an avid collector of sports memorabilia and Stag Beer collectibles. He also enjoyed his 65’ Mustang, playing pool, watching Walker Texas Ranger and being a social person to everyone he met.
Loving survivors include his wife of 44 years Edna Yarbro, children Phillip (Michelle) Yarbro and Ashley (Russell) Beussink; grandchildren Miles and Liam Beussink; his mother Donna; siblings Kevin (Karen) Yarbro, Tim (Linda) Yarbro, Candy (Larry) Hendricks, and Floyd Yarbro, sister in laws Helen Manning, Joan Walter and Ruth Timberlake and of course Almen, Larry’s beloved dog.
He was preceded in death by his dad, a younger brother Russell Yarbro, his mother and father in law Virginia and Otto Walter as well as brother in laws Jim Manning, Earl Walter and Jim Timberlake.
Visitation is from 4 to 8pm, Friday, March 27, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson and Saturday March 28, from 9:30 to 10 am at the funeral home.
Funeral service to follow at 10 am with Pastor Jacob T. May officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
