Len J. Joiner

Len J. Joiner, 78, of Jackson passed away May 23, 2023, at his home. He was born November 8, 1944, in Lake Wales, Florida. He was the son of Joe Brown and Evelyn Green Joiner. He married Molly Buchanan on July 4, 1969. She passed away July 25, 2020 after 51 years of marriage. Len was a proud Army veteran. After returning from the Vietnam war, he became a show diver on a glass-bottom boat in Miami, FL, where he met the love of his life and future bride, Molly. Wherever Molly was, that was Len's happy place. Loving survivors include a daughter, Sabrina (Jason) Young of Jackson, three sons, Jason (Lisa) Joiner of Holton, KS, Len Joiner, Jr. and Larry Joiner of Florida; five grandchildren, Dylan and Austin Young, Jesse, Jenna, and Jackson Joiner, and Jessie Lynn Joiner; two sisters, Joanne and Connie, both of Florida. Len was preceded in death by his wife, Molly, his parents, two brothers, Louie and Roy, and two sisters, Carolyn and Brenda. Len's family entrusted McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson with his final arrangements. There will be no services. Memorials may take the form of contributions to American Cancer Society and Disabled American Veterans.
