Leonard "Lenny" Charles Seiler

Leonard "Lenny" Charles Seiler, 74, of Friedheim passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at his home.

He was born on November 28, 1950, in St. Louis, son of Leonard G. and Betty M. Stovall Seiler. He and Jeanne Berkbigler were married on July 18, 1970.

Lenny graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1968 and went to work at Proctor and Gamble until his retirement in 1996.

An avid coon hunter, Lenny was a member of the Cape County Coon Hunters Club and loved raising Bluetick hounds. He helped form the Concord Coon hunters club, although the extent of hunting activities that took place is uncertain.

Lenny found great joy in taking his grandchildren fishing and raising all kinds of farm animals. He also enjoyed coaching baseball and playing on men's softball teams.

Loving survivors include his wife of 55 years, Jeanne Seiler; a daughter, Shelly (Robert) Schamburg; a son, Matthew (Danielle) Seiler all of Friedheim; grandchildren, Kody Seiler, Marissa (Jesse) Francis, Maci Jo Schamburg, Tanner Schamburg, Makayla Rangel and MaKenna Schamburg; great grandchildren, Jaci Schamburg, Hagen and Hallan Francis, and one expected in December; siblings, Jo Ann Dallas, Andy Seiler, and Sarah Seiler.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Lisa Lynn and Michael Lynn Seiler; a granddaughter, Jessyna Seiler; and siblings, Rick Seiler, Benny Seiler, Carol Riley and Mary Dell Seiler.

A visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday July 27, 2025, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.

The family suggests that contributions be made to North Cape County Fire Department or Cape County Coon Hunters Club.
