Linda Sue (Pohlman) Kramer

Linda Sue Kramer, 68, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born August 5, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, to Delmar and Lillian Aurich Pohlman.

Linda was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim.  She was a graduate of the former Trinity Lutheran Church Parochial School in Friedheim and a graduate of Oak Ridge High School.

Linda was currently a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson and was a former member of Salem Lutheran Church in Salem, Illinois.

Linda’s memberships included 4-H (also serving as a leader), the American Angus Association, and she participated in various church activities.

The past 20 years, Linda worked as a retail sales tech at Wal-Mart in Jackson, and also worked as a Mary Kay representative.  She was previously employed at Procter and Gamble and the Dress Barn.

Linda had a passion for livestock, gardening, cooking.

She is survived by a loving daughter, Michele Kramer of Jackson; three brothers, Leon (Nancy) Pohlman of Perryville, Terry (Bonnie) Pohlman of Oak Ridge, Fred (Tami) Pohlman of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; three sisters, Eileen (the late Wes) Fronabarger, Judith (Edward) Holmes, both of Jackson, Debra (Craig) Bacon of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2021, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, and from 9 a.m. to service time, Saturday, December 18, 2021, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.

The Rev. Joshua Schmidt will conduct the funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the church. Interment will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Friedheim.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, Children’s Miracle Network, or the donor’s choice of church or charity.
