Lindell Parker Dunivan passed away on August 8, 2025, at his home in Jackson, Missouri, with his loving wife, Ruth, by his side. Lindell and Ruth (Lohman) were married December 27, 1975, and would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this December.

Lindell was born on July 15, 1944, to William Oliver and Eunice (Parker) Dunivan in Senath, Missouri. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, friend, cousin, husband, father, uncle, grandpa, and great-grandpa.

Lindell lived a full life, ranging from picking cotton in the bootheel as a boy, to a high school teacher for Speech/Debate, Drama, and English, to an MU Law degree, attorney, judge, and also recently earned the "Indomitable Spirit Award" from his Parkinson's boxing group.

Lindell is survived by his wife, Ruth Dunivan of Jackson; two sons, Chip (Jennifer) Dunivan of Farmington, Missouri, and Michael Dunivan of Nevada, Missouri; two daughters, Erin (Nick) Archambault of Springfield, Missouri, and Autumn (Chris) Mileusnic of Wichita Falls, Texas; a brother Jirden (Laurie) Dunivan of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; a sister, Faye (Richard) Rice of Kennett, Missouri; and a sister-in-law, Jane (late Edward) Dunivan of Houston Texas.

He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Evan, Mary, Tristan, Jacob, Sarah, Will, Rowan, Iyla, and Eve, and four great-grandchildren, Wes, Noa, Cal, and Asa, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Lindell was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Katie Dunivan; a brother, Edward Dunivan; two sisters, Joyce Roberts and Donna McNair; and his parents, William and Eunice Dunivan.

Lindell is remembered for his quick-wit, one-liners, dad-jokes, twinkling blue eyes, and his fervor for music, golf, gardening, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was also an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ironton, Missouri, before joining St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to service time, Saturday, August 16, 2025, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, Missouri. The Rev. Joshua Schmidt will conduct the funeral service at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, August 16, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Ironton, Missouri, or Lewy Body Dementia Association.
