Lois Gladys Marie (Kassel) Wendel

Lois Galdys Marie Wendel, 81, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Lois was born April 10, 1937 in Uniontown, Mo the daughter of the Late August Edward and Lydia Christina Jungclaus Kassel.  She and Clinton Wendel were married June 29, 1937 he passed away July 27, 2000.

She worked at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill and at Lee Rowan in Jackson.  Lois was an avid flea market enthusiast.

Lois is survived by a Brother Wernold Kassel and a Sister Luella Ludwig

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded by a brother Milbert Norman Kassel.

Visitation will be Friday from 11 am – 1 pm at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral Services will be at 1 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating.  Burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Saxony Lutheran High School.
