Lourisa D. Haas, 43, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018, at the home of a brother in Cape Girardeau.
She was born February 12, 1974, in Advance, Missouri, to Louis H. and Carolyn A. Hearty Haas. She was a graduate of Jackson High School.
She worked in the healthcare industry, most recently several years in registration at Southeast Hospital, where she had many friendships. She enjoyed worship services and fellowship at the Cape County Cowboy Church near Oak Ridge, and previously attended St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold.
Her children, Lorryn and Austin, were the lights of her life. She loved spending time with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was fond of animals, especially horses, and enjoyed owning horses and horseback riding before her health declined.
Loving survivors include her children, Lorryn and Austin Allen of Jackson; her mother, Carolyn Haas of Jackson; her father, Louis Haas of Litchfield, Illinois; three siblings, Lynn (Eileen) Haas of St. Louis; Brian (Shela) Haas of Cape Girardeau; John Haas; and nieces and nephews: Gretchen (Jaime) Morris and daughter Jocelyn of Marble Hill; Shane (Kat) Fitzpatrick and children Kiera and Liam of Cape Girardeau; Cassandra (Donnie) Jolliff and sons Stephen and Josiah of Advance; Morgan (Will) James of Marble Hill; Storm (Claire) Williams and children, Aliyah, Asher, and Abby of Scott City, Missouri; and Bobby (Amy) Haas and children, Colton, Riley, and Kashton of Bloomfield, Missouri; and former husband Terry Allen (Theresa Seward) of Patton, Missouri.
Arrangements are private at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
