Luella E. (Kassel) Ludwig

Luella Ludwig, age 95 of Jackson passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the Monticello House in Jackson. She was born December 14, 1925 near Uniontown, Missouri, the daughter of August Edward and Lydia Christina Jungclaus Kassel. She and Alvin Ludwig married February 15, 1953. He died January 31, 2008. Luella was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, Missouri. She and Alvin later became members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson. Luella worked in the office at Farmers Limestone Company Old Appleton, Missouri. Surviving is a brother Wernold Kassel of Uniontown. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a sister Lois Wendel and a brother Milton Norman Kassel. A private graveside service will be held. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson. Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
