Marshall Robert Maxwell, 93, of Jackson, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born September 4, 1929, in Cardington, Ohio, to Nathan M. and Cecil Debolt Maxwell. He and Marion E. Fleming were married April 28, 1952. They had been married 59 years when Marion passed away October 19, 2011. After high school, Marshall honorably served in the U.S. Navy from April, 1948 to November, 1949. Thereafter, he attended trade school and studied HVAC. He later taught classes at local trade schools and worked for the Trane Company. Marshall's work took him throughout the U.S., and even to Puerto Rico for a few years. In later years, he and Marion traveled in their RV to check out some of Marshall's projects, see our beautiful country, visit family, and made lots of new friends along the way. Loving survivors include three children, Debra Maxwell, Donna (Ray) Langford, Dale (Dawnee) Maxwell; grandchildren, Rob (Wayna) Langford, Wendy (Mike) Curran, Jackie (Brian) Dameron, Jamie (Steve) d'Aragon, Michael Maxwell, Dana Snyder, Marsha (Oswaldo) Barrientos, Kyle Snyder; and 11 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. The family appreciates memorial contributions to the Missouri Veterans Home Foundation.
