Mary B. (Coffman) Johnson

Mary B. Johnson, 60, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024, with her husband by her side. She was born June 5, 1963, in Minnesota, to Ron and Joyce Smock Coffman. She and James J. Johnson were married February 2, 1985. Mary was a cook for Jackson R-2 and Meadow Heights Schools. She was also a private in-home care giver. She was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, James Johnson, and their feline companion, Shay. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a sister.

A private life celebration will be held later. Cremation by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
